Is it Yoga Philosophy or Yoga Biology?

Sutra 28: "By the practice of the limbs of Yoga, the impurities dwindle away and there dawns the light of wisdom, leading to discriminative discernment”
The 8 Limbs of Yoga

Many people see yoga as a way of life. We study the yoga philosophy and we learn things that affect our everyday life. But have you even stop to think about yoga biology? Yes, it does sound really weird concept to learn, but yoga is also related to our organ systems. The primary role of our organs systems is to create a human. From each of the individual system it becomes “one”. Yoga is the same way, each of the 8 limbs of yoga act as a function to allow our mind to reach “one”. For example, pranayama is breath control, this is a representation o our respiratory system. The same is for asana, which is the posture aspect of yoga which can be representation of the skeletal system which is our support.
When a yogic practice yoga in a true way and follows the limbs of yoga, he/she will eventually reach a point of “dwindle away and there dawns the light of wisdom, leading to discriminative discernment”. This is because our mind will be able to understand the difference between a choice made out of wisdom and not in a selfish way. Same is with the human body where each organ system helps to maintain and regulate the body in a good and healthy way. Now that you know about yoga biology it is your call. Is it Yoga philosophy or yoga biology?

The Human Organs Systems becomes one
