Taoism in a Plant

2013-02-20 16.56.41.jpg2013-02-20 16.54.51.jpgExpress yourself completely,
then keep quiet.
Be like the forces of nature:
when it blows, there is only wind;
when it rains, there is only rain;
when the clouds pass,                                                               the sun shines through.
Plants… They are so beautiful! For this week challenge I decided to look at plants through the eyes of Taoism. I spend each looking at three different plants all at different time of the day. I think that plants represent Taoism, because they are part of nature. Even through clouds, rain or sun some of them manage to keep themselves nice and healthy. When I was looking at them for this challenge I noticed that each plant is different. Each one of them brings it own sense of peace as if all of them no matter the place were able to communicate to bring the same message of peace. It was a nice challenge because I thought how interesting it is to see plants in the middle of the winter. It is like a reminder that we are all connected to nature.Another thing that plants compare to Taoism is the fact that there is a sense of nothingness... It is like the Taoism believe that things come from nothingness.
