What's Samadhi?

Samadhi has very different aspects to achieve the highest level of understanding and clarity in life. It includes reasoning, reflecting, rejoicing, and pure I-am-ness. This includes practicing yoga to focus on certain ideas so that they can be expelled from the mind in a relaxed fashion. Concrete objects that have a common understanding is easier to focus on rather than tanmatras (abstract objects). I had a hard time focusing on the things that stress me out during yoga, but trust me, it helps!

This also includes being aware of the "I," and focusing on the inward thoughts and motions rather than those of that surround you. This idea is important because it provides the chance to become liberated from the mind and learn hoe to control attachments.

It is important to recognize the difference between strengths and weaknesses- lessons learned from mistakes. These help a person realize what is true and real in life, which helps successfully get to Samadhi.

Once a person can successfully do this through yoga, they have become that much closer to accomplishing Samadhi!

Good Luck!
